Las Vegas - Gateway to Nature

When you read the title, you probably thought that it was some sort of a joke. It's not. I don't gamble, smoke an rarely drink. I love nature and and Las Vegas is a great place to live. Why? Within 200 miles of Las Vegas you will find a large number of state and national parks. So, if you like camping, hiking, skiing (really) boating, Las Vegas is a great place to live. Below is a map with a 200 mile diameter circle around Las Vegas. Each red dot is a point of interest and below the map is a list of the places indicated. I have not been to more than a handful of the places listed below but the fact that there are so many hear Las Vegas hopefully gives you an idea of what is within reasonable driving distance.
